The Hub conservation area is the interface between the densely forested, mountainous landscape of northwestern Montana and the basin/range geography of southwestern Montana. For this assessment, we interviewed 31 biologists in the Hub area to identify critical habitat linkages, as well as the threats and opportunities for conservation of these 56 wildlife linkage areas.
