Priority Linkage Assessment: High Divide

The High Divide conservation area in southwestern Montana and southeastern Idaho is the interface between the densely forested, mountainous landscape of northwestern Montana and the basin and range geography of the Great Basin and the Snake River Plain in central and southeastern Idaho. For this assessment, we interviewed 20 biologists in the High Divide area to identify critical habitat linkages, as well as the threats and opportunities for conservation of these 31 wildlife linkage areas.
