Priority Linkage Assessment: Crown of the Continent

crow-cover.jpg

The Crown of the Continent conservation area extends from the Canadian border south along the Continental Divide to the Blackfoot River and Highway 200 at Rogers Pass. U.S. Highway 93 separates the Crown and Cabinet-Purcell conservation areas, however, several linkages straddle this boundary. For this assessment, we interviewed 24 biologists in the Crown area to identify critical habitat linkages, as well as threats and opportunities for conservation of these 30 wildlife linkage areas.
