Become a volunteer wildlife observer!
Report a wildlife sighting.
I-Spy on the Pass is a community-based volunteer project where drivers report observations of wildlife they have seen on Bozeman Pass (Interstate 90) between Bozeman and Livingston, Montana.
Anyone can become an I-Spy volunteer. No special degrees or qualifications are required. You can participate whether you drive the pass every day or once a month. All you need is an eye for wild animals. We want to know what species you have seen, when and where. It’s that simple. Help us in our work to make the pass a safer place for both people and wildlife.
We will map your observations to identify wildlife crossing hotspots on the pass. We will work with our partners to use this information to inform the placement of new fencing, warning signs, crossing structures and other safety features.
